Office Assistant Job # 08-026

ISB is looking for a part-time Office Assistant to perform a variety of administrative duties for the Director of Facilities and Operations and the Department.

Essential Functions

  • Support the Director in several aspects of scheduling and administration.
  • Act as primary fill in for general Reception.
  • Provide administrative support as required including filing, writing original correspondence, telephone correspondence, data collection, and other activities as required.
  • Types, proofreads, and edits content of documents and presentation materials.
  • May act as coordinator for special projects.
  • Assist the Facilities/Operations Department with administrative support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Successful candidate would have a High School diploma and one year of office experience, or equivalent combination of experience an education. All ISB staff members are expected to have baseline technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately over email, the intranet/forum, etc. Employees should be able to use Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint (or open source equivalent) at a functional level.
