Postdoctoral Fellow Job 08-008
The laboratory of Dr. Daniel Martin seeks to employ a postdoctoral fellow with molecular and cell biology experience for biological applications using mass spectrometry based proteomics. Current projects include: 1) using affinity based methods to purify the Androgen Receptor and proteins to which is complexed for proteomic analysis and 2) the development methods for global proteomic profiling using targeted analysis. Skills desired include techniques such as mammalian cell culture, mammalian protein expression, over-expression studies, and standard molecular cloning techniques. Experience with protein purification is highly desirable as is any analytical chemistry background. Extensive proteomics experience is not required. Candidates with prior research in disciplines other than traditional molecular biology are encouraged to apply.
Applicants should include a brief description of present research activities and the names and contact information for three references with their application materials.
