The laboratory of Dr. Daniel Martin seeks to employ a research associate with molecular and cell biology experience for biological applications using mass spectrometry based proteomics. Current projects aim to use affinity based methods to purify the Androgen Receptor and proteins to which is complexed for proteomic analysis.
Skills required include techniques such as mammalian cell culture, mammalian protein expression, over-expression studies, and standard molecular cloning techniques. Experience with protein purification is highly desirable as is any analytical chemistry background.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor´s degree in the biological sciences and have several years experience of laboratory research.
