Jennifer J. Smith
Area of Expertise
Genomics
Cell Biology
Current Position
Senior Research Scientist
Degree
Ph. D., Cell Biology, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, 2000
Research Interests
Dr. Smith is interested in understanding how discrete subcellular processes are coordinately regulated in response to stimuli and the relationship of this regulation to cell fitness. Towards this aim, she is characterizing the global response of yeast cells to fatty acid exposure through the generation, integration and analysis of various large-scale datasets.
